Magnolia Roots Endodontics has an intimate treatment area, and we aim to provide a calming atmosphere for all our patients. For these reasons, we ask that you do not bring more than one guest to your consultation or treatment.
To maintain safety and efficiency, we do not allow small children who are unable to remain seated for the length of the appointment in the treatment area.
If you need treatment, please do not bring small children with you.
A parent or guardian must accompany patients under the age of 18 to their consultation visit.

Your first visit to Magnolia Roots Endodontics will be an in-depth consultation to determine exactly what is going on with your tooth and the best course of action.
The consultation is an important step in the root canal process to not only determine the correct diagnosis and potential outcomes but to get to know you and your concerns.
During your consultation, Dr. Sells will perform a thorough examination and various tests. She will also review your medical history.
During your consultation appointment, high-tech diagnostic imaging including digital x-rays and 3D CBCT images will be made.
Special considerations such as your unique tooth anatomy, existing restorations like posts, and the extent of the issues will all determine the best way to proceed and the most appropriate treatment for you.
After a diagnosis is made and all treatment options are presented we will reserve an appointment time that is convenient for you.
While some patients require same-day emergency treatment, in most cases we prefer to make a separate appointment after all options have been presented and all financial arrangements have been addressed.
Please bring your physical or digital dental insurance cards with you to the appointment.
Please bring a list of any current medications you are taking. If necessary, you should also bring any medical clearance forms from your physician or OBGYN.
You can fill these out before the appointment. But if you plan to complete these in the office, please arrive 15 minutes early so you have time to read and fill them out.
We’ll make every effort to get these from your dentist beforehand, but if you have them handy, please bring them.
If you do not have a referral, we can still see you! Generally, we prefer you see a general dentist first as they can typically determine if an endodontist is the right specialist to help you.
Please bring the following to your consultation appointment to ensure the best treatment plan possible and accurate information for you and your dentist.
To reserve your appointment for root canal treatment or surgery, a deposit of 50% of your estimated portion is due at the time of scheduling. The remainder is due the day of service.
If you choose to cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 2 business days notice, we will retain a $50 late cancellation fee.
Please contact our office immediately if you know you have a scheduling conflict.
We go to great lengths to ensure you can maximize your insurance benefits. We will make every effort to accurately estimate your portion of the cost for you before your treatment.
Please note: This is only an estimate, and ultimately, the patient is responsible for all treatment fees.
