At Magnolia Roots Endodontics, our mission is to provide compassionate, pain-free care in a calming and friendly environment.

Welcome to Magnolia Roots Endodontics

Dr. Carley Sells is originally from Naples, Florida, but is proud to now call Georgia home. She’s best known for her calming approach to patient care, her thorough patient evaluations, and her ability to remember all the words to hundreds of songs she sings along to while working.

After attending the University of Central Florida, Dr. Sells attended Dental School at Nova Southeastern University where she was selected for a four-year Health Professions Scholarship from the U.S. Army.

Dr. Sells served 9 years on Active Duty in the Army, achieving the rank of Major. After 4 years as a general dentist at Fort Stewart, GA and Fort Bragg NC she completed endodontics residency at Fort Bragg in 2019.

From 2019 to 2022, Dr. Sells served as the Chief of Endodontics for Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, where she served soldiers from all branches and mentored several general dentists in endodontic procedures.

Meet Dr. Carley Sells

They currently reside in Pooler and are proud to serve this community. She has served Pooler and Savannah patients since 2022 before founding Magnolia Roots Endodontics in 2024.

Dr. Sells and her husband Brian fell in love with the Savannah area during their first tour and have decided to make this their forever home since leaving Active Duty in 2022.

Why Choose an Endodontist?

We only take the X-rays we really need to provide you with the absolute best care. We utilize direct digital sensors, which offer the highest dose reduction of all digital radiology methods. By optimizing our protocols, most root canal procedures only require two digital radiographs—one before treatment and one after treatment.

Digital Radiographs

Dental Operating Microscope

The high-resolution image from a 3D CBCT scan helps us create the best action plan, treat you most efficiently, and maybe even find infections not visible on regular dental X-rays. We use the lowest possible radiation setting with the highest resolution image to give you the best possible outcome!

3D Cone Beat CT

This little machine helps measure the length of each root canal with nearly 100% accuracy and is proven to be more accurate at measuring the length of a root canal than using an X-ray. It helps us save time to complete your root canal quickly with precision and accuracy.

Electronic Apex Locators

Dental operating microscopes provide high magnification and high-powered illumination to help visualize the inside anatomy of your tooth during root canal treatment. They ensure we can find, clean, and seal every critical portion of the root canal.

These files allow for less removal of tooth structure and can easily clean curved roots where previous stainless-steel files could not. Modern rotary root canal files have made root canal treatment efficient, quiet, and easy for doctors and patients alike!

Magnolia Roots Endodontics proudly supports our local Veterans by partnering with Team Savannah for Veterans. This local 501C3 Veteran Nonprofit is dedicated to helping Veterans in Savannah and the low country area.

For every 20 root canals we complete, we donate $200 to support Veterans in our community with homelessness, financial assistance, critical home repairs, wheelchair accessibility, and Veteran outreach.

While Dr. Sells is no longer in the U.S. Army serving soldiers' dental needs, she is proud to help serve local Veterans and assist in “fighting for those who fought for us.”
